I opted for the in-game eyes and mouths so their expressions actually change, as opposed to other authors who sometimes paint on the eyes and mouths (which can result in more accurate faces, but this also means their face can't move). In fact, I deliberately gave Vanilla no mouth and instead painted one on so only her eyes would change expression, in order to make her seem more in-character.
